MaterialWise collects and uses the following information to provide, improve, promote and protect the MaterialWise Services:
Account Registration. As part of the registration process, we may ask you to provide, and if you provide we will associate with your account, information such as your name, email address, phone number, and billing information including your physical address. You may edit your account information at any time by signing into your account.
MaterialWise Services. When you use the MaterialWise Services, we may collect certain information about the device(s) from which you access the MaterialWise Services, such as your device and operating system type, identifiers associated with your device, including your IP address, geographic location, the web-page you visited before coming to the MaterialWise website, and your usage of the MaterialWise Services.
Analytics and Behavioral Information
We may collect analytics data, or use third-party analytics tools such as Google Analytics, to help us measure traffic, user events, and usage trends for the MaterialWise Services and to understand more about the demographics of our users. In addition, if you so indicate in your Account Preferences, we may use the information we collect to send you news and product and service updates and for other marketing, informational, product development and promotional purposes relating to the MaterialWise Services.
How We May Share This Information
Law Enforcement and Other Government Entities. These technologies help ensure that your data is safe, secure, and only available to you and those to whom you provide authorized access. However, no data transmission over the Internet or information storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
From time to time when using the MaterialWise Services you may be directed to a third-party website that is beyond our control. MaterialWise has no control over any third-party websites, nor over how they may collect, distribute, or otherwise use, safeguard or store your personal information. MaterialWise is not responsible or liable for the conduct, content, policies or actions of any third-party website. Any third-party websites are linked to the MaterialWise Services only for your convenience, and your access to them is at your own risk.
MaterialWise will retain your information for as long as needed to provide the MaterialWise Services and for our internal business purposes, which may extend beyond the termination or cancellation of your subscription or user account, or until we receive a deletion request. Please contact us at [email protected] if you wish to delete your account permanently from our systems. Please be aware that we will not be able to delete any content you have posted to third-party services.
